Here’s my LP Knight.
Non Planar faces are killing me, I’m creating them like they’re going out of style.

That looks really good, I think, although the mane could be more connected with snapping/extrusion.

As for planar faces, may I suggest referring to my previous post that I made for someone else because they thought the same that you are thinking now?

Having planes is not always good. It is nearly impossible if it isn’t impossible by itself to get everything planar, especially on complex shapes like faces. Try the monkey mesh. You’ll find that it has a lot of distortion. This is totally OK. That being said, the real problem is how your mesh works together–does it create the right shape? Yours looks like it has serious issues. I have a knight that has many distortions but it renders correctly. It’s important that you worry more about how it r…
