Honestly I probably spent longer on this than I should have. To get those stairs on the right side I had to reconstruct that side of the pyramid to get the loop cut to work, and I used the subdivide function to make the border going around the larger steps. Doing that gave me a lot of edges to clean up, and cleaning up all that irrelevant geometry took the longest because I had to go over each edge that I didn’t want with circle select to get rid of them. I guess that’s the drawback to subdividing. It probably would have been faster just to make one of the faces with the pyramid with all the detail and then copy it to the other faces, but I got good practice regardless.
