Hello everyone, I didn’t introduce myself elsewhere because I’m generally extremely antisocial, but I decided to come and check out the community because the lecturer kept banging on about it. I’ve played and poked around with Blender for longer than I’d like to admit, and even still, the course managed to teach me a few things about the program that I had no idea about until now, so after I finished the last challenge, which was just some nondescript robot face, I decided on a whim to see what other people had been up to. I don’t like being cajoled out of my comfort zone normally, but I’m glad I was in this case.

This was my first attempt, just a silly, nondescript robot face that I spent no more than a couple of minutes on.

But I was so blown away by what other people had produced, that I felt a bit shown up. so I decided to try again and put a bit more effort in this time.

Hi, im sharing my first ever 3d model!

Seems Blender has a lot of potential, also find a bit annoying can’t edit primitive properties after creating them.

Just a Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse combo  Simple, but still was fun to do, lighting is a bit iffy but i’m sure i’ll improve when i get deeper into the lessons!

Took a bit and had a lot of fun! The new video on shift F made a world of a difference for me! Love the course so far.
