Thank you! The funny thing is I did make rails but the grass was covering it up

Yes, can happen. But there are ways to lower the grass particles on certain areas, like the rails.
And also, plan ahead and stick to the plan. Blender project management is also important. Sketch draw, examine you subject first. Try to see the basic shapes of the object. You will learn, have fun.
