Hey everyone!
Just wanted to start of by saying that I’m not exactly new to the course (you may find some of my 1 out of 2 total posts that I made sometime in the past), but it has been a really long time and I never took the course too seriously when I first started so here I am again, almost brand-new XD.
Maybe someday I wouldn’t mind pursuing a career in 3D modelling, but for now i’m really looking to broaden and expand my skillset and also create some really cool and advanced models someday, so I decided if i’m gonna do this course I’m gonna use as much practice as I can get- and that means making as much stuff as I possibly can.
So here are some of the models I’ve made by following along from the first part of this course, with a bit of insight along the bottom of the image. Critique and any opinions always welcome. Thanks.
All models were made using only skills taught in the first part of the course using primitives and manipulation.
Just a simple replication of the barrels that were made early on. I decided to have one lean on the other rather than having it just on the floor like the example.
This is my take on the well that was made LOL I honestly don’t know what it became but I was going for a sort of post-apocalyptic vibe where maybe it was destroyed and they had to use maybe little pieces of scrap metal for the roof and it’s falling apart because of… something or the other… idk what happens when I try to be creative![]()
Train that was made as an example… but I got really lazy towards the end and kinda… sorta… just left it how it is, but i’m happy that I tried at least.
Pretty much a to-scale replica of the one in the video… (I hope)
A speaker…
Model of a cool spinny table I have in my front room… would love to revisit it one day and add some rotation to it later on…
This was my take on the mini-garden castle, the most pain I’ve had was trying to get this scene just right; I don’t even want to admit how much I spent trying to make the hills and make it look a sky in the background… but I’m so glad I did cos now it makes it opens doors for creating potentially more complex scenes in the near future and I learned something which is always a benefit of course
My work-desk with my PC, keyboard and Microsoft surface laptop in the centre and left. On the right we have a printer with a little notebook and a flower pot which although aren’t there currently, I thought it would be nice to add after browsing the forums for some inspiration and I thought these 2 would be nice to incorporate into the image. As for the chair… I truly tried.
Just my take on some of the work that I’ve seen here, just a little house with a little path in a giant forest, inspired by the many brilliant houses and paths that people have made on this forum.

Anyways guys, if you made it this far thanks soooo much for looking at my work and I would love some feedback or opinions if you feel like it
I’m so happy I decided to really take my time and design these and I really have learnt a lot, more than I did when I first started the course and I am really amazed on the wonderful things you can create with simple shapes and transformations ![]()
Can’t wait for the next chapter!

Still have a looooong way to go XD
