Hex based modularity?
Excellent concept. Bit hard to tell if it is working.

Yeah I thought the idea would be cool. It was a bit hard to setup though.

Really, really like the whole look and feel of this!
Might I make one suggestion? A ceiling. It would enhance the whole ‘dungeon-y’ feel of the place with the lights bouncing around and etc.
Unless you want it to feel open, of course, it’s your design.

Hey ShyDragon thanks for your feedback !
Honestly I 200% agree with you. I felt the same about the lack of a ceiling. But I wasn’t sure how to go about this and if I would need to change the height structure of the walls and such.
So I just put a blue background and called it a day ^^

How would you do the ceiling?

Just stretch out a plane and set it on top.

I suppose to keep more of the modularity and the hex motif you could try duplicating the floor tiles, editing them as you see fit, and then raising them to ceiling level.

But normally I would just use a plane, especially just to see how the lighting looks with a ceiling, you can always add a more detailed one later.

If the walls aren’t equal in height, you could use a smaller plane, add some loop cuts, and move and extrude the edges so they fit cleanly with the edges and vertices of the walls (make sure edge/vertex snap is on).

Hopefully one of these works.
