Looking at my results and results of other students (and at Blenchmark itself) I realise that even desktop i7s are well slower at rendering with Cycles then even mid range GPU`s. So if I had built a machine for Blender/Unity and gaming (yeah) it would be pretty much the same hardware I chose considering just gaming. Cool thing also is when GPU is rengering a sceen CPU is still available for simple tasks.
However I still don`t understand if digital painting applications like Krita and Gimp support GPU acceleration. Would be cool too.
