Remesh implosions?

Now my body segments want to implode remeshing … And I suppose I cant just delete them and start again cause the arms n legs are mirrored to them … Hopefully Its possible to make it through this course with my sanity intact …

A floaty Origing … There were Two More Floating origins …but they mysteriously vanished again , :grimacing:

Hey , I’ve also came across this problem multiple times, and it’s always been because I have a deleted face/faces when I remesh my objects. So I would check to make sure no faces are deleted/missing before remeshing your objects :+1:

Thanks … At one point a face in the face disappeared for some reason which I replace … I guess ill try again tomorrow :+1:

It’s a non-manifold mesh - aka has holes.

I shared a few tips on how to potentially fix this. Worst case you have to start over.

The 3D print add-on, has a feature to fix holes (making it manifold).

Ok… Sounds interesting … Was thinking maybe I should grab myself a 3d Printer and see what thats all about …

For 3D printing, your object surface can not have a face missing.
Like a plastic bag with a hole in it. It will leak water when filled.
The 3D printer software does not know how to handle a hole in this wall of 3D faces.

Thanks … It didnt seem to help but says there are 8 unmanifold sides …
I will start with a bit earlier save in this very painfull learning process  Sure it will come in handy in Future …
