I am a very newbie. I cannot obtain the shadow effect -from the Blender course**-Learn3D modelling for beginner-** SECTION 1 , lesson 7 : Viewport and rendering -there is a change in the shadow between the minutes 4:06 and 4:08 , which I can not obtain it. Maybe I do not have the right version of the blender 3.2. Is it possible to obtain it with any version of the blender ?
If not please share a link with the file to instal Blender. I have installed on my PC a BLENDER LAUNCHER -and I use version 3.2 to learn the course but I have also version 2.8 and 3.0.1. thanks for understanding.

It can have many causes in Blender!
- Are you using Eevee of Cycles?
- Is there a lamp and is it active?
Don’t look at details but try to learn and understand Blender.
Do not experiment with options. And be careful with hotkeys.
They make Blender behave differently then the tutor
Blender is only downloadable from their own site. 3.2 is available or the current 3.3.1 will work just fine with the course.
Nothing has changed in this very basic early lecture for a considerable time that I am aware of.
If you have an issue we need to see it! This is a totally visual medium, and all the info that may help solve a problem is probably in the panels and menu bars around the working spaces.
