'RADAMANT' Exo-sub

If I decided to make useful content for our game even in this training, no reason to give up!
Besides it is keeping up my 3D skills, I still study that. So I need to put some cool textures and then go on with it in Unity.

This time Exo-sub ‘RADAMANT’ will start up, as rocket. While it can move in any direction.

50 meters long, with a nuclear power plant, hutches for launching small robots, a crew of 4-5 people.

Fins: 4 in front and 4 behind can rotate, plus reactive micro-maneuver with small jets.
Well… for sprint races the submarine is not intended

This is a research submarine
Plus the system of heat removal from the reactor from the rear adds ability to maneuver by water jet.

5-6 hours approximately. From pencil scratch to this lowpoly. 4,5 polygons.

I would love to see the pencil version :smile:

Usually I make public pencil drawings more attractive, this is just for internal use, but I can share it, no matter. That particular was a sketch for me.

At present state, after renewing of content, almost no content translated to English. But we shall fix this in some perspective, and now put content into new site, still not in public access, may in several days.

Okay, I can write main ideas.

  1. S.A.N.E. Space Adventure and Exploration. That means NO WAR content at all.
  2. The strange and powerful force form space, so called FACTOR. or Irresistible Factor…

This is in meaning similar to ‘The Great Filter’ or some other matter, mentioned in old soviet Sci-Fy by Strugatskie - it is known as novel ‘Definitely Maybe’

By the way there are 2 movies… for me they are about FACTOR.

1st shows the victory of Humanity. ‘Eolomea’ (1972)
2nd shows the victory of Factor. ‘Operation Ganymed’ (1977).

Lets go back to game idea.

  1. Educational content. Like ‘Astronomy’ course, but in game.

  2. Expansion of the game in to real world. Even in-game encyclopedia has links to prototypes of space missions, that are used in game.

  3. The attention on Soviet and Russian space missions and concepts. Just because most of developer team are in Russian Federation. But at the middle of storyline the origin of space agency ‘KORONA’ becomes truly all-human initiative. Like Azimov’s Academy - the only power that can overcome FACTOR.

KORONA (or Crown in English) is not only symbol of state power.
The main meaning is that it is brightest and hottest, light seen even in total darkness of eclipse.

Okay. Now we are developing alpha-version. It is about Mars exploration. 4th storyline episode. First ingame manned mission to Mars (not first in history). The ‘RADAMANT’ exo-sub is from exploration of Jupiter System. 22nd century, later part of 5th episode.

1 ep - equatorial space launches.
2 ep - orbital infrastructure
3 ep - lunar infrastructure
4 ep - mars exploration
5 ep Jupiter system
6 ep Saturn system, Second Home on Titan.
7 ep Project ‘RANGE’. Venus, Mercury, moons of Neptune and Uranus, Pluto… finding strange object, orbiting Pluto…
8 ep Starting two interstellar missions. Manned and automatic. Decryption of message from Pluto object.

I was hardly busy with making some models for main game development now. For example, that was a total re-topology of Hub and platform for landing complex…

But besides… there was an idea about making… mobile version of Game. It lightened up yesterday!

So I used some materials created here for RADAMNT exo-sub.

This is like a title image for… EXPEDITION VERSION of game :slight_smile:

P.S. I redesigned some details of control fins as it advised by specialists in sub-marines.
