Pyramid render issue

i have this noise when i render in cycles and i have no clue why it is there :sweat_smile:

There are a few things you can do to improve this, but the first thing to try is to increase the sample amount. This is shown in one of the Lecture 1 videos, or I’ve included a screenshot below.

For your rendered image, change the “Render” property from 128 to something higher. This will increase your render time but will usually reduce some of this noise. There’s typically a cut-off point where higher samples will stop presenting a higher quality image, but that’s for you to experiment with. I usually start with 512 and go up or down as needed.

This is normal Cycles behavior.
For small simple projects you can switch on the de-noising option.
Or use Eevee instead!
