Project Boost - My Scene

This is actually my 2nd attempt. The first one I did didn’t save because Windows 10 decided to reboot my PC for updates. I usually save as I go but for some reason it didn’t and I lost a lot of scenery work.

Looks great. Yeh happened to me a while ago. Have you used GIT source tree at all ? If not i recommend the course by Ben they have on here. It’s a really cool. Especially if you make a right mess of things. It means you can go back to a saving point before you made changes in your game. I dont know what i would do without it now quite honestly.

I haven’t, no but totally should. I do remember them talking about that and while I have heard of Git hub and bit bucket before I’ve never actually used it. Clearly it’s something I need, thank you for the reminder.

You should use it and then will never look back.

Your scene looks nice  i guess losing some progress happened to more of us…

For code definetly set up some version control (github or whatever) indeed.
It will save you future headaches.

For scene (auto)saving there are some assets too^
Some just autosave with intervals or before playmode,
some save up to X versions, so you can have like a scene version control.
