Heroic, powerful, absurd, tokusatsu
These are the 4 words I think I want my players to feel.
-
Heroic: My game will be about an average guy who obtains powers like the power rangers (my main inspiration will be Kamen Rider) so I think it needs to feel heroic/righteous, someone that will protect the world against the forces of evil
-
Powerful: I want the player to feel powerful in the sense that he/she can feel how the punches/kicks have a large force when they hit the enemies, maybe the enemies get launched in the air to oblivion or something like that, maybe you can destroy rocks or buildings with just one punch.
-
Absurd: While I want the player to be the hero, I’m aiming to have a hero in the same vein as Saitama from One Punch Man, a hero that truly is powerful and righteous but also is really silly, I want the player to experience some really awkward/absurd situations.
-
Tokusatsu: Tokusatsu refers to a kind of genre in japanese tv shows where there are a lot of special effects, explotions, over-the-top abilities, giant robots, etc. Examples: Kamen Rider, Power Rangers, Ultraman, etc.
