I modified Terminal Hacker to Pirate Treasure Hunt game. When selecting 4, it will randomly select 1-3 destinations. I hope it works.
Hey @KurokoLife! I really like the way you changed this and really owned it! So cool to switch it to a pirate theme! And of course you can’t go wrong with the music you used!
A bit of what I hope you’ll feel is constructive criticism: are the difficulty levels all pulling from the same Array for the passwords? I played several rounds and it seemed that I kept getting the same words (generally in the 4-5 letter range). I’m going to play it again to maybe give you some feedback on what may be happening there. Oh! One more thing which I was curious about is a design choice you made — the passwords all seemed to have capitalization? That may lead to player frustration if they crack the password, but missed that they had to capitalize the first letter of their guess.
Again, well done though! Changing the background from the terminal to a treasure map feel and changing the font was really inspired. I hope others look to your project as a source of inspiration for what is possible and how to really make this challenge their own!
Sorry for the delay in responding. I didn’t set my email notification and didn’t know I received any comment.
Thank you, @Dan_Reiley. I was inspired to make this game after watching Pirates of the Caribbean for the 10th times :o)
It took more than few try to get all passwords but I was able to go through all of the passwords. Regarding the capitalization, thank you for the feedback. I will make passwords case insensitive and reupload it.
Appreciate your feedback!
This game was very cool and fun to play
Nice Work! I really enjoyed it
