as you can see somehow i shrunk my pin… i dont know how it happened but somehow my pin shrunk. instead of redoing the whole op i just placed the bottom point on the ground by going into edit mode grabbing the location of the bottom point on Z and then going to object mode and moving the object by the Z difference. hope it helps someone in the future
