My submission for the periscope challenge. After seeing the walkthrough after my first attempt, the instructor made it clear that excellent alignment could be achieved by taking advantage of the x/y/z coordinate controls on the rightside panel. I utlized the transform tool in the version shown here so that there were less visible seams.
