Off the wall question

I need to create a scene with a radius of 13.5 billion kilometers but Unity maxes out at a paltry 100 km. Based on what I’ve been able to find, the only way to accomplish this is to change the gravitational constant of the universe (G=6.67408e-11). Is my research correct or is there any way to do this without changing “G”?

Yeah, this is the question I mentioned in the Physics Q&A

Hi Virgel. You could change constants, but it will haven knock-on effects. The other option is to use different scenes for different scales, for example when you go onto to a planet then load a new scene with a different scale.

Roll on 64 bit engines I say!

Yeah, I kinda figured that would be the case… which led me to buy the Unreal course (and a new computer to run the engine)…

Thanks for the answer
