Numpad to move the x,y,z axies how to setup this on my mac?

Hi, in the tutorial you use the numpad to move the x,y,z axies how to setup this on my mac? my numpad options are not the same as yours im using the default setting.

I am not sure what you mean as the numberpad is used to select views not the xyz axis.

However Blender has via Edit, Preferences, Input, Keyboard, emulate numberpad, the option to make the keyboard numbers act as though they were the numberpad.

I would assume it should work normally on a Mac, Make sure Num Lock is on first though, if it is off then the shortcuts won’t work.
If Num Lock is on and still not working then check your preferences.
Under Keymap > User Interface > 3D View > 3D View (Global)
Scroll down until you get to this section and setup your Numpad buttons.

thanks this was the 6. Duplication course, manage to make it. i was not clicking on the keyboard numbers haha i was clicking on the touch bar where i have the F1, F7 options… so dumb

Believe me when I say I’ve done many things like this. Makes yourself feel pretty foolish when you figure out what the issue was huh?
