Null Reference Exception Laser Defender

I don’t believe in taking breaks, vacations or anything of the type. Because each lesson can take weeks to finish I can’t afford to stop trying because at this pace, with over 100 more lessons I have to learn, we’re talking about a lot of time to finish a 35 hour course. I can’t afford to lose that time.
I understand your answer but in my eyes I have a teaching assistant who’s been doing it for years, a master problem solver, the unity community, google, & all the other resources that I look at daily & nobody can solve this problem. That is why I asked my question from that perspective it seems a logical one to answer.
I will continue to work hours a day trying to find the answers & probably never will but I can’t just sit here & not try. Time is valuable & irreplaceable.

Yeah, I can totally get behind that sort of mentality, I get you, but unfortunately, I’m out of ideas, I’ll have to ask you to create a new package and upload your game again with this new version to see what is going on.

To Yee & anyone who reads this.
The vision for the game I have in my head I’ve had for over 20 years & nobody has made anything even close to this idea in either movie or video game. My goal is to learn how to solve my own problems because at this rate it literally can take 2 years to complete a 35 hour course. I’m also taking your 3d & RPG course & want to do pinball quest.
I do realize that does not happen overnight so I not only need assistance in this course. I need to know how to get from being close to totally ignorant to at least being competent enough to do things. & I do need to learn this stuff like Rick says not just follow him.
Anyway sorry for the rant. I appreciate you guys help here is what you requested.

You won’t believe me how I fixed this.

First, the first spawn wave was too slow, the time between spawns was 5 seconds so that kinda threw me off, so I changed it to 1 second.

To fix the error you just have to deactivate the enemy you have in the hierarchy, you can delete it too since you won’t be using it anymore.

I thought I did that after I read a QnA from the class notes on udemy. Anyway thanks. I have a question that has nothing to do with unity or the class…
How did you make that animated gif?

There is one thing. This is not a problem & may just be my inspector setting but your gif both waves happen at once & my 2nd raid don’t start till almost the end of 1.
I’m gonna try to finish class 100 & then I gotta learn how to finally (after I’m officially starting 101) this problem resolved.

The way I create gifs is by capturing the screen then I go to a website that converts video to gif, you can google those words and many sites that do that will appear, use the once of your choice.

Yeah, it probably has something to do with your wave settings, nothing to worry about.

Ok now I have a new list of problems that this problem is solved.

  1. My laser shoots above the player (it used to shoot under the player)
  2. The main camera is too wide & when I try to resize it resizes all 4 sides.
I decided to stick with the latest version of unity. As you told me to do I exported the assets & imported them but in the older project the camera was sized correctly while in this new project the camera is not.
    Old project

    New project

Never Mind.
