No sprites…?

Hey guys… For some odd reason I do not possess the power to create sprites within Unity 2020.2.5f1. It looks like this:

As you can see the ‘Sprite’-option is nowhere to be found! Any idea why that is?

Which version of Unity do you use?

Create a game object in your Hierarchy, then click on “Add Component”. Select SpriteRenderer. If the SpriteRenderer component does not appear there either, go to Window > Package Manager and check if there is something saying “Sprite Renderer”. If you find something like that, install it. If in doubt, share a screenshot here.

I use 2020.2.5f1.

I just updated Unity today and didn’t know that I had to install the 2D Sprite package. But it did the trick. It’s there now. Thanks!
