I’m not completely new to 3d modeling but it has been a really long time. I started with lightwave when it was still part of the video toaster. That was about 88’. I was able to animate movies recording frame by frame on an industrial SVHS deck that was able to disingage the tape from the head while the frame was rendering. Yes I’m ancient. My modeling got pretty good, I was able to look at basic objects and recreate them. but now It has probably been about 18 years since I even touched it and it’s like learning all over again. I have the latest version of Lightwave but i’m finding a lot more material on blender so since it was free here I am. I am a video producer by trade but my son creates video games and i’d like to contribute to his projects. Thats about it. Good luck to all.
