Need help with material editing

Hi everyone. Did anyone else encountered this problem ?

• My material editing column does not scroll down more than you see in attached picture. It doesn’t contain more parameters. I tried adding by getting in the Blender’s preferences but did not succeed

Dis you install an external material library? I see “Material Library VX”. Not an original Blender panel …?

I do not remember installing such a thing… Maybe I messed it up when trying options in the preferences options…

Now I found all the parameters I’ve looked for, Only I don’t see the ‘assign’ button

Assign button only shows in Edit mode. Would be my first guess, you are in object mode? Hard to know with non full screen captures.
