My VR Goals

VR Goals: I want to develop enough understanding of VR interactions in Unreal to make a smooth system for grabbing/interacting with objects.
Course Plan: I’ll be watching the sections once a week; in each section I’ll attempt to replicate the examples that are being used and meet the challenges put forth. Additionally, I want to apply each thing that I learn to a side project.
Side Project: My side project is an idea that my office mate and I brainstormed one day; it will be fairly interaction heavy (in this context, that means figuring out how to quickly apply smooth grab code to several different assets with consistent behavior).
Platform: Oculus Rift S
Looking forward to: Seeing where the virtual interaction and the code meet. I program for my job, and I want to bridge the gap between my work knowledge and the VR experiences I’ve enjoyed.
