I was surprised how difficult I found this, it really is like trying to make ‘art’ (I hesitate to use the word) I can see what I want in my head but trying to put it down in unity is frustrating. I tried to design the second level with the idea that pickups could be placed in harder to reach areas so the player has the choice of an easier run through or more of a challenge to increase their score.
Also struggled with the lighting until I realised that my background cube was too close to the foreground and blocking all the light as you can see in my earlier attempt.
Going to need some practice at this.
