Dang, it seems I have the one radeon card that doesn’t support Vulkan, and after compiling unreal would crash. I tried every workaround I could find/think of for my Linux box but to no avail, my gtx 550 ti just said no. So I bit the bullet And picked up a rx 570 graphics card, now I am back in the running!
