Hey everyone,
Here’s my first little game I’ve built. Spent around 3 evenings building it following the completion of the Text101 module. I accidentally deleted the first version of the game so I had to rebuild it from scratch, then refine and bug-check on the third evening.
I’m sure everyone deletes their games all the time, right…?
Please give the game a shot and let me know what you think. There’s an achievement screen at Game Over detailing your progress, lore encounters and features multiple endings.
If you find a bug please let me know

Hi Lemon,
Don’t sweat this one to much. I had a bug in my text 101 game that I couldn’t solve. I decided to delete it and start over.
I like how you have added music but miss a toggle to turn it on and off. I also miss being able to start over once you complete the game or die. What I absolutely love is that you check what the player has learnt about “the … in the …” (trying to avoid spoilers here).
Well done creating the game!
Hey Lucror,
Thanks for your feedback!
My game deletion wasn’t through an inability to fix a bug - I suffered clumsy fingers and deleted the Scripts and States folders from my Assets hierarchy and couldn’t recover them
If I revisit this game I’ll be sure to add the ability to control the music. I also have ideas on sound effects when moving between areas (footsteps, doors etc) to help immerse the player, as well as adding a few new areas, another item and an ending relating to said new item.
When you’re at the credits, you can press ‘Esc’ to start over. Again, if I come back to this, I’ll add a note at the bottom of the credits to remind the player they can do this.
Thanks again for giving it a play-through and for your feedback. I’m really excited to crack on with the rest of the 2D course and maybe, when I’m a bit more versed in coding, I’ll revisit this and expand it a little further (and probably tidy up the code while I’m at it)

Awesome! Keep at it. I am still plugging away at my Text 101 game. The programming is done so I’m more into the story development part of it
Great! Looking forward to playing yours too!
