Here is my plane made from extruding a box. Ran into a little trouble as I was making the upper wing. I should have extruded the support beams an extra time so I would have had the geometry to extrude from the sides of them instead of extruding the top which made it so I only extruded a face with no thickness. Also that made me end up with overlapping faces that caused some problems until I figured it out and deleted the faces I didnt need.
