Monetization and Unity Ads

I know I’m going to get stoned for this (especially as app/game monetization and creativity doesn’t exactly go hand in hand!) but I’d love to learn more about game monetization and ads within the Unity3D framework.

I’m also aware monetization veers more towards game design, but a general overview as part of a game development course could include:

  1. Understanding and implementing basic monetization techniques/models (gacha etc.)
  2. UI design with monetization in mind best practice (menu, text etc.)
  3. Implementing Unity Ads in games
  4. App Store optimization best practice

Very mobile-centric I know, but we’re seeing these strategies (aside from point 4) being employed across a number of F2P Steam titles and even console titles nowadays!
