Low vs High Poly - board with texture

I’ve diverged a little bit more from the lectures… Stone board looks kind of cool :slight_smile:

Couldn’t make box projection work good enough with those textures (pixar’s as well), so I tried to do UVs (a little bit blindly).

Plus spent another few hours on tweaking the lighting…

The course will get to uv s later, in some ways it can best not to try out bits till you have done the course on that area. Covered lighting things too later, so assume the remaster will. But it is hard not to try and make even early models better!

Yeah, I try to stick to what’s in the lecture waiting for more advanced topics as they come alone… But it’s hard sometimes to resist :smiley:… esp. that Mike (not purposefully) advertised UVs a few times… and that I couldn’t make box (or others) projections work well enough on this board with this texture (with wood it was ok).
