Low poly House scene

I have created a low poly house with cycles render engine.
I’m always trying to get better, so any feedback is great.

Of course, artistic freedom by the designer is leading. But for me, some details are too dark, especially the door. With a nice brass door ‘knocker’? I understand the dark part under the shed roof. Maybe rotating the sun a bit. Or increase environmental lighting.
Good work!

Thanks!
This is my first bigger project. I will think about that lightning issue.
Perhaps the scene is darker because of your monitor settings.
I have test it on multiple computers and the results were diferent.
At some monitors the picture was brighter than on other monitors.

You’re right, sorry. I switch also monitor and now it’s nice and bright!!
Well done.

Your scene has a nice feel to it. I like how the materials have mostly low specularity, it matches the cartoony feel well. The low poly tree also looks great. Are you planning on using it for something else, like an animation?

Thank you!
I was aiming for that cartoony look.:grinning:
I am not sure if i will make animation maybe someday.

Good work there !!

I like cartoony style , i did some of my modeling in that style too, Fluffy bunny lecture .
One advice about how light and colors work, and how to get more realistic feeling to whole scene, go and check if you didn’t already blender guru on youtube. You can download filmic rgb, and implement it blender. Here is a link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9AT7H4GGrA&t=777s .
It works great and results are much better especially in cycles render. Great thing to have for later when you want to model realistic scenes.

Thanks
The scene looks now a little bit better but yeah good to know for realistic scenes.:grinning:
