Well I should have just tried the well or something modular XD This was about how much I had patience for XD It was, in my head, going to be a control room! And then I was like “… I have no idea what I’m doing”

Haha the best way to understand what you are doing is but at first not knowing but still trying anyways.

Most students are eager to create the stuff in their head or just trying out some stuff.
No problem at all. But the challenges are built around the idea to teach you something.
With a sort of difficulty fitted to the lessons.
Progress in the course, learn some other basics. And then come back to fulfil your dreams.
HINT use reference photos … search for ‘control room’ images.
