I must be doing something wrong because my backdrop is too shiny in the 3d view (rendered mode):

I’ve tried many alternatives, but I always end up with a shiny backdrop. For example, here I’ve assigned the default material to the “lamp” and to the backdrop:
I’ve change every parameter I know of… until it occurred to me that I should try to change the rendering engine from CUDA to CPU.
In CPU mode I get this:
That’s just what I was looking for!
I’m in Linux, so maybe there is a problem with CUDA but… is that expected?
