Light problem

Hi, what may be the reason of this disgusting light problem between walls and a floor? Does it necessary for objects to be perfectly matched with their plains? The light has been rebuilt.

Not entirely sure what’s going on with between the walls and floor but Mike mentioned the same thing in his promo for the remastered version so I assume he’ll go over that at some point.
