I have an issue , i hope you can help me with.
- i dont have the removing doubles opotion at all, i do have the merge by distance option however i cant merge 2 vertices into 1 with it
Iās the correct function to merge (double) vertices!
Maybe you need to decrease or increase the merging distance. Blender gives feedback on how many vertices will be merged. Before you accept the distance settings.
i tried to change it back and forth but nothing happend, it still says āremoved 0 verticesā.
Did you select the vertices to be merged. Like āaā for ALL.
Make sure you arenāt trying to merge vertecies from multiple objects. If you are, it simply wonāt work as merging vertecies is a mesh operation.

Seeing this a lot in the tower section of this course.
When you added the sphere you were in object mode not edit mode.
You will now either need to redo the scene or you can go into object mode and select both object and use control and J to join them
You cannot use merge on two independant objects even if you select them both and go into edit mode on both at the same time as it does not work.
