I easily fixed the layout mess all be it the long way to learn how to split windows. First I remade the info panel then split to a new window downwards. Made this the 3D view. Then I split that to the right for the outliner. Split that down for properties. Then split the 3d view down again for the time line. Came out exactly like the default layout.
