Hey there, just starting the Get a Job in the Industry course! My name is Joel and I’m from Spokane, Washington in the U.S. Really hoping to get into the game industry as an artist but I’m just starting out with that as well. Almost done with Grant’s low poly course and will definitely be taking things further! I’ve tried doing some other courses like the character creator but that was a bit too advanced for me for now.

Yes, take small steps.
In the beginning, we all want to do high VFX and Disney stuff.
But it takes practice and thus time.
Try to spend as much time as you can get.
Small steps, learn the basics of 3D.
See where your strengths lie.
