Just Getting Started

Hey everyone! I’m joining this course in parallel with the Unity course to get me closer to being a proficient game developer. I like to understand everyone’s role on a team at least to a basic understanding, and as I’d like to be a game developer, I want to get a basic understanding a 3d modeler/artist’s job. Being able to create my own assets and artwork in Blender will also help build my portfolio, as I won’t need to stick to prebuilt assets when creating games.

I’ve used Autodesk Inventor and other CAD programs in the past, so I’m somewhat familiar with 3d modeling, but Blender seems to be a different beast and I want a deeper understanding.
