The jump pads in Hoppy Days (Godot lesson 72) were driving me mad, from the moment Yann said “I can live with that” ;c)
My solution is hardly very advanced. All I did was make sure the size of the “spring” and “spring_in” images were the same, and spring in was located at the bottom of the image. Now the jump pad looks like this:
