I don’t know what I may have accidentally clicked, but when in Poly/Face selection, it looks almost exactly the same as when I’m in Edge selection mode. I can see the little square center points in Wireframe mode, but I’ve lost them in Solid mode.
Anyone have any idea how I did this, and possibly where I can go to get them back?
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions anyone can offer.
Hey Michael, sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner, as I was out for several hours, and just got back.
I first realized this when I was working on the Mayan Pyramid, but I don’t think it happened when I first updated Blender to 2.78, because I had already done that before I signed up for classes at Udemy.
I just opened a new file and added a cube, and yes, it’s happening to a new file as well.
OK Michael, here’s a double screenshot. The left side is a cube with one face selected in Edit Mode with the Solid Viewport Shader, and the right side is the same cube with one face selected in Edit Mode with the Wireframe Viewport Shader, where I can see the center dots on each face.
Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! McFuzz, you are da man!!!
Now I have to make a note of that in case it happens again, though I can’t think of when I would’ve checked that option to begin with. I was probably looking for something else in the Shading area, and accidentally checked it. :headdesk:
Thanks again sir. It just surprised me, since I’ve been using Blender off and on since version 2.4x (the old horrific UI), and I’ve never come across this before, so was really stumped as to how to fix it.
