Here’s my first simple level - so just for a reminder of the games core “a drunken vampire bat trying to find his way home before the sun comes up”.
So I’ve tried to be a little bit clever here, the level has no timer (yet), but I’ve tried to create a subliminal sense of urgency to get from A to B by playing with the directional lighting and making it look like the sun is just about to come up.
The low poly obstacles add to cartoon feel to the game and the clouds are in there to catch the player out. They can either go around around them or might bump into them to see if they can go through them. I’ve also added a low poly terrain too.
