Interface question

I am hoping the instructors see this.

In succeeding lectures there is a reference to some things in the botton left. I have done a screenshot and circled the area in question.

As you can see, I have adjusted the font size and installed a theme and Blender is MUCH friendlier to my trifocal needing eyes.

But I cannot figure out what needs to be changed to make that bit in the corner readable. For that matter, I don’t even know IF that stuff can be changed. I would be very grateful for any help.

It’s called “Mini Axis” and can be found in Blender User Preferences > Interface.

Thank you for responding Nina_Morawietz,

Alright, I see that. It is a wee widget thing showing the axes in the appropriate color.

What I need to change is fonts on the bar in that same area. It is the bar with the box that changes from edit to object and has View, Select and those things.

However, when you do, for example, CTRL-R for edge loops, those items are temporarily blanked out and information is displayed. Once you have made whatever adjustment and press ENTER, it goes back to the box that changes from edit to object and has View, Select and those things.

It is the tiny black print in the momentary box/display that I am needing to adjust. As can be seen in my pic, that lil widget thing is easy enough to see. But the print in that box/header is close to impossible to read.

Sorry, my bad. I couldn’t find any options for the tip display, but I found another solution for you that increases the UI size. You probably have to undo your other settings first. Blender User Interface > System. Set the DPI to e.g. 100.

Thank you once again Nina for getting back to me,

I have already mentioned once that this may be something that cannot be adjusted.

I know that for all the looking and adjusting I have done in the User Preferences I have not found anything that DOES, in fact, make any change to the font in that place.

I will see what I can do to bring this directly to the attention of the instructors and see if they have a solution/answer to this. Mostly, my reason for bringing it up, is that in the edge loops and loop cut lectures the font in the place indicated has been mentioned and referenced.
