If you experience lighting problems like I did (black walls)

Let’s say you converted your Brushes to Static Meshes (like I did) and tried to illuminate walls, hit “Build” button to rebuild light sources, but instead of cool-looking preview you get black walls like on this screenshot:

I also just went into my material and added a Multiply Node and Parameter that added a “Brightness/Saturation” value to the texture.

Just set the parameter to 1 and it should also work when you rebuild the lighting.
