I noticed that Rick’s compiler times in Unity are much faster than mine.
Specifically I mean the time between he switches from Visual Studio to Unity (compiler starts running), presses play and game starts to actually run.
While it takes 2-3 seconds for him, I need to wait at least 5-6 seconds.
Already switched Unity and project folder to my SSD drive, but no change.
What else could influence the compiler time?
My current specs:
Xeon E3-1230V2 @ 3.3GHz
24 GB RAM
I don’t want to waste money on new computer hardware, if it won’t change anything.
But I find this important enough to address, saving 2-3 seconds each time during future work projects is A LOT.
