How to get into this field

How do you get into this field? My college class is just part-time as I have to work to pay the bills but I want to open a start-up

So far I have seen C# for Unity, and HTML for web based games. How does one crack into this field?

I am aiming to pass the Unity certified Programmer Exam, then the Professional Programmer Exam. I don’t want to waste time on artistic things like making a game, so far the resources I have is:

-This course and the RPG course from Ben and Rick

  • Unity tutorial courses

  • Codeacademy for C# , HTML and Javascript

  • Any textbooks I can get from a local Library
