Help! My bowling pin has 2 holes

Does anybody know why this happens?

Humm, was the guide curve not flat somehow? Might have got tweaked while not properly side on viewing it.

It might explain the twist, and that may have given a side on illusion of the center being exactly in place. Resulting in the hole.

You only need to draw one half of the outline before you spin it.You drew the whole outline. Just draw half from the center of the bottom of the pin to the top center of the pin. You can draw the whole outline and spin it 180, but if the both sides are not exactly the same the geometry wont match up at the join.

Your first point should start at the origin with both handles parallel to the bottom of the pin.

Spin it manually and look at it from a perspective angle and you can see the hole open up. You can also see how the unnecessary right half overlaps the other geometry as you rotate past 180.

This is what it looks like from the a similar spin angle when the origin of first point is at 0. No hole. Hope this helps.
