Hi Guys,
My name is Ben and I have been playing with blender in some capacity for about 18 months. I really enjoy the creativity it allows and I am much better at building something in 3 dimensions then drawing it in 2.
I have just recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Digital Media which covered design for digital media, digital video, game design and 3D animation and rendering (which I got a High Distinction for!). For the course we used Cinema 4D which has some nice features such as a library of material and textures, however, I do prefer the UI and work processes of Blender.
I am hoping to refine my skills through this course to become more proficient. My goal is to one day create short animated films and develop 3D content for higher education. As a side I would also like to develop my skills to be able to design for 3D printing.
