My name is Jared, I’ve been a software engineer for the past 15 years. I’ve been a DBA, worked a bit with Java and Perl, but have spent most of my time focusing on front-end development with various libraries/frameworks like Backbone, Angular, React, and Vue, as well as full-stack development with Node.js. Recently I’ve been excited to learn about game development, and having already taken a few Blueprints courses, this felt like the next best stop. I’ve enjoyed GameDev.tv content so far and am excited to be a part of the group.
