Argon Assault is a great project, thanks to Ben and Rick for that : D
Ship rotates and turns so nice and my first wish was to fully enjoy this flying, so I’ve decided to change the controller script and let the ship fly free. Luckily we already have bigger part done.
Take a look how is it now and let me please know what you think of it ^.^
Main things you need to do:
- add a force to your camera which going to move your player
- change rotation of the camera when you go higer or lower, left or right, to change the direction of your flight
- somehow solve the problem of “z-rotation” which going to appear when you turn on two directions at the same time (up and right at the same time). For that I’ve linked “z-rotation” to the second one joystick on the controller or J - L buttons on the keyboard. You can see it in action in the video on 0:15
