Hello! Two things: Just to let you all know: this course really fricking helps, finish it, like seriously, give it time! I sent out one CV, got the phone call, did an interview assignment and I’m in the next step of interview process. The interviewer also asked me what course I did, and knew the site and acknowledged that it’s pretty good basis after seeing what was covered in the course (he tried it too, but the beginning was too slow for him;)).
Second thing: I would like to show you an application I did. It uses local network to connect PC and android device to sent answers to spirit board.
It was made on specific request of a friend, who would like to use it for RPG session, where he is in another room, players are in another and he hears them through the microphone, so after they ask questions to the board, he can answer.
I had some problems working out how to make everything work, networking is not as easy as I would like it to (I tried figuring out WebSockets along the way, to make it work not only locally, but it would take too much time, and I have another bigger project I’m working on).
