Fluffy bunny render (problems with blades of grass cutting through the body)

Here is my final render of the fluffy bunny scene. I see a problem with it though. Apparently there are some blades of grass that cut through the body of the animal.
Is there a way of preventing this from happening without diminishing the density with the paint on the vertices where the bunny is sitting? Could I make the grass react to the presence of the bunny by making it collide with it?
If I diminish the density I’m afraid the ground would be visible where the bunny is and it would look wrong.

Hi Santi,

I would try to just adjust the length of the grass where bunny is sitting. This way you wouldn’t need to touch the density but just shorten the grass just under the bunny.

It sounds a really difficult route to go to try to create some colliding stuff since there are a lot of particles and it may become really heavy computationally. (So I don’t suggest this route)
